Turkey Breast
INGREDIENTS
1 - Butterball Turkey Breast (6lb)
8 Tbs. - Butter
1/2 tsp - Salt
1/2 tsp - Black Pepper
DIRECTIONS
Remove whole breast from bag. Drain juices and pat dry with paper towels. Combine butter, salt and pepper in small bowl. Spread 2 tablespoons butter mixture under skin of turkey, being careful not to tear skin. Rub remaining butter mixture over turkey, coating the entire turkey breast with softened butter. Place breast into a roasting bag and put in a roasting pan. Cook at 325 degrees for 2 hours 30 minutes. Use the cooking juices to make Brown Gravy. Serve and enjoy.
*Special Note - Darcy uses 18 lbs. for family dinner. This recipe pairs great with Brown Gravy!
