Hejl's Homemade Ice Cream
INGREDIENTS
6 - Eggs
3-3/4 Cups - Granulated Sugar
4 Cups - Heavy Cream
4 Cups - Half and Half
2 Cups - Whole Milk
3 Tbs. - Vanilla
3/4 tsp - Salt
DIRECTIONS
Beat eggs with mixer until light. Gradually mix in sugar until eggs stiffen. Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly. Add ice cubes and rock salt around the inside of the ice cream mixer. Fill hand-crank ice cream mixer container 2/3 full with milk mixture and crank until desired consistency is reached. Serve immediately or put in freezer.
