Cheesy Scalloped Potatoes
INGREDIENTS
10 - Large Potatoes
5 Cups - Whole Milk
1/2 Cup - Diced Onions
1 Clove - Diced Garlic
1-1/4 Cup - Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1/2 Cup - Butter
1/4 tsp - Black Pepper
2 tsp - Salt
1/2 Cup - Flour
DIRECTIONS
Sauté onion and garlic in butter until soft. Add flour, salt, pepper, 1 cup of cheese, and milk. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Peel and thinly slice the potatoes, and make one layer on the bottom of a glass casserole dish. Add some of the sauce on top and continue adding layers until all sauce and potatoes are gone. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 1 hour 45 minutes. Remove cover and sprinkle remaining cheese on top. Bake an additional 45 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
