Spanish Rice
INGREDIENTS
1 Cup - Uncooked White Rice
1/2 Cup - Crisco
1 - White Onion
2 Cups - Chicken Broth
16 oz. - Tomato Sauce
1 tsp - Salt
1 tsp - Black Pepper
1/2 tsp - Garlic Powder
DIRECTIONS
Melt Crisco in a large saucepan. Finely dice onion. Combine all ingredients, cover with lid and simmer on low for 25 minutes. Don't stir while rice is cooking or it will get mushy. Remove from heat and let sit for 10 minutes. Fluff with a fork and serve!
