Tiff's Baked Mac and Cheese
INGREDIENTS
4 Cups - Milk
4 Tbs. - Butter
4 Tbs. - Flour
2 1/2 Cups - Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 lb. - Large Elbow Macaroni (dry)
1/4 tsp - Salt
1/2 tsp. - Black Pepper
1/2 tsp. - Onion Powder
1/2 Cup - Bread Crumbs
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9x13 baking dish. Cook macaroni until al dente. In a large saucepan, melt butter and stir in flour. Cook for 1 minute. Remove from heat and slowly add milk, stirring constantly. Return to heat and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Once sauce begins to thicken, stir in 2 cups of the cheese and stir until melted and smooth. Stir in noodles and pour into baking dish. Top with remaining cheese and bread crumbs. Bake for 25 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
